FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I've decided to get some work done, how does the process work?
If you are considering some work in your home please reach out to us with a brief overview of the project and any questions you may have. We will then organise a visit to your home to asses your project. You can contact us via email, phone or through our contact form found on our ‘Contact’ page.
What happens when you visit my home?
During the initial consultation we’ll survey the property and talk through the work you want to achieve. This process involves taking pictures and measurements which we will use to draw up an estimate of the work. In some situations planning may be required, which we will advise on. If an Architect or Engineer is required for the work we can recommend trusted associates with excellent track records.
Do you manage the project?
Here at Vital Construction we believe upgrading your home should be as stress free as possible. Once we undertake a project we manage all aspects of the building work from start to finish so you don’t need to worry about it. A site manager will be your guide to the work, as well as your point of contact during the duration of the project. The site manager oversees all the tradespeople working on site, ordering and delivery of materials, site health and safety, ordering skips, removal of any waste materials and end of project clean up.
What is your track record?

DO YOU DO ATTIC CONVERSIONS?
Yes, we carry out attic conversions. However, home owners must be aware that not all attics are suitable for conversion and in some cases planning permission is required. Roof height, access, existing structure, fire safety and light are all things that must be considered before deciding if an attic conversion is suitable for your home.

How do we choose the materials and finishes for our project?
It can be daunting when it comes to choosing fixtures, flooring, paint, kitchen cabinets and other materials and finishes that might be required for your project. We are happy to guide and recommend suppliers for everything that is necessary, or, alternatively for you to source the materials yourself.
Are you insured?
We are fully insured. We have both Public and Employers Liability Insurance.
